laptop troubles and finals OH MY!
Dec. 15th, 2011 01:21 pmJust thought I'd make a little update here since I haven't on this journal yet. Since my life isn't all that exciting I don't have much to write about here. Oh well.
A week ago last Thursday my laptop of many years (3) died. Turns out there was problem with the motherboard and the computer wasn't fixable. This means I get a brand new laptop for my schooling. I get to pick it up from the store tomorrow since they are going to transfer all the files that were on the old one to the new one. On the bright side I'm getting a laptop that's more powerful then my old one and it was top of the line back when I first got it. I can't wait to find out the wonders of windows 7. Yes, I've been running a windows XP for this past few years because it was back when Vista was the new window OS and I did not want it. I know I said I was going to get a mac when it was time for me to get a new computer. I choose to stick with windows because while I'm in school I don't want to learn a new OS and all my programs I have are all for windows. One of these days I will get a mac. Mark my words.
I'm now more then halfway though finals and can't wait for the semester to be over. There has just been one big headache after the next this year. I'm ready for this much needed break. I can't wait to start next semester though since I'll be taking my first photography class. Yay! I'm also getting very VERY close to getting my bachelor's degree.
That's all I really feel like updating here right now. I'll try to be sure to keep this journal updated as best as I can.
